Who we are

JLD Courier ("we", "us") provides a Shopify application that books shipments with the JLD courier network, prints airway bills and synchronises tracking back to Shopify.

Data we access

To operate the app we access, via Shopify's APIs and only when needed:

• Order details (order name, line items, totals, financial status) to create shipments.
• Customer shipping/billing address, phone and email for the selected order, used solely to create the courier booking.
• Fulfillment data to attach tracking and notify the customer.

Data we store

We store the minimum needed to operate: your JLD API credentials (encrypted at rest), shipping defaults, and per-order booking records (Shopify order ID/name, AWB number, status, payment method and COD amount). We do not store customer names, addresses, phone numbers or emails in our database — these are read from Shopify on demand at booking time.

Data sharing

Order delivery details are transmitted to the JLD courier API you connect in order to create and track your shipments. We do not sell personal data.

Retention & deletion

When you uninstall the app, or upon a Shopify shop/redact request, we delete your connection (including encrypted credentials) and all booking records. We honour customers/redact and customers/data_request compliance webhooks.
